Effective Jan 1, 2012, Jason Z. Schroeder Guitars is no longer affiliated with Premier Builders Guild (PBG).

Schroeder Guitars chose to enter the Guild in order to make our designs available to more players at a lower price point. We also looked at it as an opportunity to work with some of the most elite craftsmen in our business and have an organization behind us set up to build our brand at the production level. While the efforts to brand-build and market the production line of Schroeder Guitars has fallen short of our expectations, my experience with the building members of the Guild has exceeded my expectations and I am eternally grateful for the friendship and support of the other builders/designers.

Moving forward, Schroeder Guitars will continue to focus on its custom guitar business as well as growing and launching a production line of T (Chopper T and Chopper TL) and S (Seville) style guitars. Additionally, we are working on expanding the offering of our parts/accessories business, which currently includes our wraparound stop tail, a stop bar for Tune-o-magic style bridges, and top-adjustable locking studs.

Schroeder Guitars will continue to offer the Edge, Chopper Carvetop, and Radio Lane models on a custom basis only. However, for the time being, we will no longer offer production versions of these models.
