View Full Version : Stu's "builders Choice", all Mahog Chopper

Now that J has informed me about me build, time to start an offical progress thread!

For those that don't know, this is a "Builders Choice" build. I had no idea what body style, wood choices etc Jason would use. I have three Schroeders, so Jason knows my current line up and I left totaly control to him (only input I may discuss with J is radius).

So I was extremely happy to see I'm getting a Chopper tone machine!! It's a solid one piece of Honduran Mahogany body, Honduran Mahogany neck, landscape Brazilian fingerboard. What are the other specs? I'll know when you know :)

This makes me want to order Schroeder #2 before Schroeder #1 is even delivered. Great classic idea.

Waitaminnit... Those ARE my specs! :P Except I have a maple top to go with it. Heh.

Can't wait to get this bad boy!! I have two of the nicest maple tops I've seen, now this mahog along with my Schroeder Redwood will balance out the line up.

This truly is a Builders Choice guitar. Jason knows the neck carve I want (Schroeder neck carve), and the rest is really up to him. Can't wait for this baby!!!!!!

I've seen it. Beautiful shade of red with an aquamarine mermaid inlay on the body. Beautiful I tell you. :)
