Welcome Marina!!
Marina is Schroeder Guitars first female client and we are thrilled to have her. She also happens to be in Redding, so after her guitar gets underway, I think we will see her often.
Marina has spec'd a guitar that will feature this quilt top:

This top will really pops after it gets finish- a quick wipe with water brings out the figure so much, I can't wait to see it with stain and finish!

Nice! Looks like it's going to be a killer... No colour decided yet?

I decided on lime green for color...as for the rest of the guitar, it will have a chambered body, and slimmer neck due to my hands haha. As for the inlay I have this awesome cross necklace that I might have Schroeder use as a idea for the cross around the twelfth fret.file:///Users/marinagerig/Desktop/cross.jpg

You need to upload the picture onto the web before you can display it online. Something like flickr photobucket etc.

PS - Since you live in Redding, if you ever you go by the shop would you take some pics and post 'em? We all would be most indebted to you. I did a shop visit in Jan and the guys all loved the pics I got from a visitors perspective

Hey Marina, Came up with any ideas/thoughts for materials to use in creating your inlay? A computer rendering would be interesting.

Well I'm not quite sure on the material...I definitely want it to stand out. They haven't really started the building process yet as far as I know, but when it comes time to discussing options with Elizabeth I'll let you guys know what I decide on.
