sounds like a VERY nice idea and it looks like it could be done with the way you build your guitars Jason...maybe ? :)

I know what you are going to say...I'm looking for EVERYWAY to squeeze tone and sustain out of my guitar :D

What do you think ?

I know NOTHING about guitar building, but anything the Leprechaun says usually causes skepticism. Wonder what Jason thinks?

I think that there a lot of things that you can do that change tone. Whether they are an improvement or not is totally in the ears of the beholder.

That might possibly be one of the better Roman suggestions, but overall you should take what you read from Ed Roman with a grain of salt.
If you arent familiar with him do a search of his name at the gearpage or HC and see what people have to say about him and his business.

Lets just say he is beyond questionable ethics.

I will be the first to confess here!! When I first started surfing the internet years ago, Roman's site was one of the most comprehensive sites on the web. He had all kinds of cool stuff. Lots of pictures. Rare guitars. And I spent a lot of time on his site. Lots to see and read about. I think most of us have been there and curious, having no pre-conceived notions of him. Like Bryan said, there are a zillion discussions on line about the guy.

I mean, on stainless steel frets even him can't be wrong no matter what :)
