Flamed Walnut!

Well, at the risk of straying too far from tradition, I purchased some Flamed Claro Walnut from one of the most renowned walnut guys in the world. I am thinking it would be pretty sweet as a top or a back wood. Tonally, walnut is a bit like maple but not quite as bright. I am really excited to try it out!
