Hello everyone, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to the forum. I've been a member of BAM for awhile under the same screen name, and currently own a HB2 and a McSoapy. I've been following Jason's Chopper project as well as Bryan's guitar through the threads on BAM and have been blown away by Jason's ability to handcraft such beautiful instruments.
As a result I've placed an order for a double cutaway and have joined the ranks of early Schroeder customers! I'm really looking forward to the whole process and hope to share experiences with other lucky owners as we see our guitars evolve. Sounds like mine will be similar to the tour guitar, here's the major specs:
Double cutaway
Black Limba back, quilt top
Braz Neck w/ebony fingerboard
Standard dot inlays w/ "S" logo @ 12th
Tiger Eye finish
H/H 3-way config
22 fret
Should turn out to be a truly beautiful instrument! I can't wait to see the build photos of everyone's projects, I could study those for hours! Just to wrap up about me: I'm 37 and live in upstate NY, enjoy blues and classic rock and besides music I enjoy boating on beautiful Lake George (just bought a Donzi this year, hence my avatar.) Thanks for reading and looking forward to talking with all of you!
John
