So i realized that the digital camera went with Elizabeth to Florida and the Bahamas!!! I have an old one but the picture quality is poor. I will take some photos in the light tomorrow. This piece is CRAZY. Very intense quilt.

Awesome! When I first saw that top I knew it was the one for me, I've always wanted that kind of figuring on a quilt top and was psyched when I nabbed it. Looking forward to the pics, thanks for the update Jason!

that bookmatch came out as close to perfect as I ever seen !! those lines are straight as an arrow running acrossed that joint ! :D

WOW!!! :shock: :shock: What a perfect way to start off the day with that pic!!! Man, that figuring is ubelievable, I know I made the right choice! I'll say it 100 more times but this whole process is so cool!!! To see a pic like that and know it will eventually be my guitar blows me away. Thanks for the comments guys and posting the top Jason.

John I had a chance to get your neck planed, headstock face cut and "ears" glued on tonight. Pics to come... You have a VERY nice piece of Braz!!

Great wood John. Man, someone's been busy in the shop the last few days!

Here is John's back and top gluing up. You can see dull areas in the center of each which is where I clened up the glue squeeze-out with a moist cloth. It is much easier to clean up when the glue is still wet. The section that is cut out on the upper right side will be used for back plates, knobs etc.

John, your neck is the one third from the bottom in this pic. (Which is absolutely terrible). Something happended and my flash decided it would not work. I will take more photos in the daylight when I can. Trust me your neck is really beautiful!!
