hey Jason! CX here from BAM.

I was wondering about where you think your doublecut production numbers will be by about february? I have a favorite number (34) which has some personal significance to me and I was wondering if you think you may be around that number wise for your DC's by next Feb '06?

I know it sounds like a stupid question probably, but if its possibly, getting the #34 guitar would be kinda cool IMO. Anyways, lemme know.

Also, can you do a slate color similar to...

Hey X!
I will keep you posted as the serial numbers approach 34. We can work something out! Not stupid at all. In fact, many guys have requested a particular number. I think we could do something similar to that color. Thanks for posting.

Talk soon.

I agree.

There's also something very cool about having a personal touch like that. Makes having a custom guitar made be that *extra* little bit special.

Hey Dave,
I will have E-beth check on serial numbers. You all should know what number you are. Just know that many numbers will be out of sequence because requests were made for specific numbers. In fact the second order placed with be #007! So we will get those to you ASAP. Does anyone have an objection to us posting them on line?

Hey Jason, I think it would be cool to see what #'s everyone wants :)

BTW-- I am the culprit who threw the #'s out of whack in the first place...I'm "007". It's not that I have a problem with the #2, I just have a thing for the #7. If Jason decides that he wants to keep the #'s in order, #2 would be perfectly fine too :D

I'm just happy to be on the list!!

I don't have any problem with a production number list...so I'm assuming the production numbers are all 4 digits (0011) ? or are they going to be 3 digits (011) ?

Hey guys,
Shad, trust me there have been a lot of requests for specific serial numbers. I have absolutely no problem with that at all so long as you are not trying to get a lower serial than you are in the deposit order! :D So if you are the second guy to send in the deposit, which Shad was (after Bryan #001), and you ask for a higher number, by all means you can have it. At the time when guys were asking for numbers in the teens, I wasjust hoping I would get that many orders!!!! Well, I don't have that problem any more until guys start ordering #1034! But someday maybe! Anyway, no big deal. We will get that list posted as soon as I talk to E-beth.
Tommy, I think it will be three digits for now. I don't want to count my chickens yet! Man, that would be crazy. I could make 999 guitars with that system without changing it. What will guitar 999 look like? What will it be made of? Crazy to think about...

Have serial numbers ever been decided upon? I know you said I was early enough to a single digit, but can't help but be a little curious as to which one, that's all. No biggie. I just proud to be one of the "Originals"! A brotherhood, of sorts.
