Well, it took a couple hours to build and get set up but here she is in all her glory!! My new bandsaw. And I had the chance to resaw some more limba. This is a beautiful piece of the dark stuff. Very resonant. Gorgeous grain. More to come tomorrow as I will be prepping most of the body wood. Looking forward to increased productivity with an amazing new tool!!

It is a Jet JWBS-16 (16"). 1 1/2 HP. I can run 1/8" to 1 1/4" blades. 3000 SFPM. Already making life easier!! I will post pics tonight of the body blanks.

Small CNC wouldn't be bad idea. Especially for inlays and such. Might make life easier.

I bet in 5 years, he brings those photos up and says "Remember when I had to do it like this!!!!"

Congrats buddy. Nothing as fun as new tools.
