View Full Version : On raw wood, how do you determine the back from the front?

To me, some of the back shots look nicer than the front, but I AM weird.

Regarding your question, the biggest thing is that the front of a bookmatched piece will match along the centerline. The backs will not. What pics are you looking at?

I know what the confusion is. I have a couple pieces up that were intended to be used as backplates because they are only 3/8". Not thick enough for a top. Sorry about that Tony.
So should I put a HOLD on 827? :)
