I found this while browsing the net... Pretty slick! It is on a Merle Haggard Tele. Merle actually lives about 25 minutes from me. See him around town at the bank sometimes.

Fender has a bunch of set necks I've seen with the same joint. One was a FMT Showmaster and one was tele mede in China

You should ask him for a jam session, or better yet, show him some of your guitars! :wink:

I wonder how he would view mine? I know another local builder that spent about 100 hours on an acoustic for Merle (it was a 12 dret 00-18 style as I recall) and he rejected it! So it was for sale at a local shop. I don't know if I could take that!

maybe you should make Merle a guitar just like PRS did for the stars, and what better place to hit him up for a guitar, A BANK!!!!!

Does Merle still have money? I think he had some IRS issues a while back!! :o
