Specs look great, but here's the great thing about Jason....he's awsome to work with! Whenever I have a concern\question about a spec I have chosen, Jason gives a very educated opinion. I think one thing the seperates Jason from most other builders is that he is not only an incredible luthier, but his a player with a great ear. Jason has a very good background\understand or "art" and incorporates it in his gutiars. But first and formost he wants his guitars to be played. If a spec doesn't look right to Jason, he'll tell you.

Stu, I told Jason that I'll probably leave the pickup choice to his discretion. Your statement removes any doubt that my desicion was the correct one.
Another thought popped into my head. If the body is made from black limba, would it be possible to stain the maple top and the limba the same shade?

Hey lowend!!
Good to hear from you man. Yes that is possible to stain the whole thing. It would have to be done as a shade coat of lacquer (as opposed to a wiped on stain). Shoot me an email or give me a call and we can talk about specifics.

Hello Lowendgenerator, your guitar sounds like it will be sweet. The local crackwood dealer here has some new inventory....I'm sure Jason can give you a fix ;)
Keep us posted on how this baby progresses.
Oh yeah, Stu is right on as usual, Jason is great to work with :D
