Hey Guys,
Well, for now things have calmed quite a bit. The new large shop (and little house) is officially in escrow and everything is looking great. We have a few more inspections in the coming week but the place should be in my possession as of December 9th. Then the move is on!! Buying real estate is quite a paradox though. On one hand, I am thinking how overwhelming it can be to handle all of the stress of trying to obtain funding and negotiate a deal on real estate, coordinate with brokers, agents, sellers, appraisers, inspectors, etc. But on the other hand how easy it really is for complete strangers to lend you 6 figures!! But I digress...
I am really going to be hitting the building hard in the next few days and will be posting progress pics at the normal rate. Thanks for your patience while we work through the land acquisition stuff.
I received a bunch more Indian rosewood this week for neck blanks and even some additional Brazilian fingerboards so I am swimming in rosewood lumber! Could not be more pleased. Again, pictures are forthcoming.
Just a reminder - I am visiting my maple supplier week so I should have some really nice new tops and we will revise the lumber stash page at that time.
Other than that, I am back and feeling better. If I missed any emails I apologize! I am still catching up a bit. The last few days have been foggy!! Gotta love the Nyquil... :)
Shirts and mugs are here! I have not had the chance to email everyone with shipping totals but I will try to get to that this weekend. They look great!
Glad to be back.
