Mitchell and I worked out a deal that will allow him to get to know the ins and outs of a Schroeder guitar. All the better for you guys! He will be building his own doublecut under my direction as on the job training. Our deal though is that he will do everything on this guitar. Mitchell is very precise and analytical about building and I have all the confidence in the world that he is going to be a great builder - not just a guy that sands guitars! We talk a lot (I talk a LOT more than he does!) about techniques and jigs and how to build a better guitar.

Here are the parts of his body ready to glue...

Awsome to see guitars are being made at the new shop. It will be cool to see the progress of Mitchells. Do you guys know the specs yet?

He worked his butt off for the wood too! It is really weird to see this guitar coming together because it looks like I built it with my hands. Mitchell is really doing a great job.
