Ok guys time to talk logistics. Here is your chance to request the Tour Guitar so that it can coincide with your upcoming gigs or other events where you may want to play it. At the moment the guitar is in Alta, California and it will be heading to New Jersey shortly thereafter. Please post your requested dates here.

No real requested dates here. I think however, i am one of the few people located in the midwest (Lawrence, Kansas) so if that has an impact on the schedule, as im sure that it will, great. Otherwise, any dates would be great. Also, Jason, I know you were probably planning on doing this, but, could you just post a little bit more information about how youd like us to ship the guitar from location to location. Also, i was just curious about what the approximate cost of shippping will be as well for us. Thanks!

I'm about to start a couple home improvement projects in preperation of selling our house, so I will be pretty busy for the next few weeks (not as busy as Jason though :) ). I would prefer to have the tour guitar later in it's rounds. However, if it makes sense for me to get it sooner, so I could meet someone in person to avoid shipping, well that's cool too. I can't wait to play it!!

I have gigs on Feb 25, March 4th, and April 29th. If I could have it for any of those dates, I would be happy as sh*t. LOL!!!

MKlein...I will be going through Oklahoma on a tour...not sure what the dates will be yet but if that isn't too far from you, we could plan it out and I could bring it along to play and we could meet up

Is it too late to get in on the tour? I'm close to Chicago, and I have no gigging schedule, so whenever is good for me!

Has this solidified yet? I haven't heard when I should expect it. My gig on March 4th was cancelled, so it is looking like Feb 25 is the only date I could gig with this. I doubt that it will get to me by then...bummer. No biggie though, I can't wait to get my grubby little mits on this bad boy. I feel bad for all you guys after me, cuz I'm gonna put my *stank* on this guitfiddle. LOL! (just kidding.......maybe  )

I'm just 30 miles west of Chicago, so I'm near Lowend. I'm fine with whenever I can get her!

The tour guitar is now in Tommy's posession in Jersey City. Hope you are enjoying it. Stu was cool enough to pimp the Tour guitar at the Brookdale Guitar show in New Jersey today! Thanks Stu! So who is closest to Tommy?

luckily I've had Sunday off so the guitar has been played for about 4 hours today/tonight...I picked it up from Stu this afternoon and had about an hour drive back home and I couldn't wait to play it so I stopped at the Guitar Center (on route 18 ) and went into their quite room and played it through a Boogie Stilleto (spelling) amazing sustain....amazing...amazing...that is the first thing I noticed...I'm a pretty busy guy so I won't be able to give the reports that the other guys gave but I work in studios and play on a lot of different things so hopefully there will be a few recordings of this thing played through a few amps, Triple Rec, Classic 50, Fender Twin, Roland JC120

Hi Jason,
I'm interested in getting my hands on this guitar. I'm in the St. Louis area (Highland, IL).
My band's schedule (http://www.wayoutwillie.com/schedule.html)
What are the details as far as how long each stop has the guitar... Shipping methods and costs...etc...?

Hi Jason, where's the tour guitar going next? Does anybody know the order.
I'm here in Alabama, I know Kevs here too. I hope to see it when it hits the south but I may be moving out west before it does. But that all depends if I sell my house soon. Does anybody want to buy a house here in Gulf Shores area of Alabama? Come on all you guys up there in the snow move down here by the beach and warm up. :D 5 BR 2 Bath, 9 minutes to the ocean. Cheap! LOL

Hey Dan,
Shoot me an email if you get a chance and I will see when we can get it to you!
Hey Will!
The Tour guitar will likely bounce around PA for a couple weeks. I will try to figure out who is closest to Tommy and keep it moving.
Tommy, Do you have any projects coming up that you would like to use the Tour guitar for?
Jason

Well it looks like I'll have a tour in April with this guy www.psyche2soul.com and then one in July with a girl pop/soul singer that will hit all the midwest/west coast I think...I'd like to tour with a Schroeder as my main guitar or two if you have them if mine isn't done by then...dosen't matter if it's the tour guitar or another Schroeder...I can make anything work 8)
I'm ready to pass the tour guitar on as soon as you tell me who gets it next...until then I'll keep playing it and recording with it

Hello all,
Yes, it looks like I'm next on the list....WOOHOOO!!
I live in Carlisle, and work in Lancaster, PA......just outside Harrisburg.
Tommy will be going right by Carlisle friday night, so I will go out there and meet him. Hopefully, I can meet the next person in line too, so we can avoid shipping as much as possible :)
Who else lives near the PA turnpike?
Shad

That's weird? I must have shipped 30+ guitars. Never costs that much and you were only shipping one state over? I shipped one the Jason coast-to-coast insured for $3000 only cost about $40.

Yeah, I just shipped a guitar and an amp (212 Combo) to my Brother in Law in California and it cost me $65 for the guitar and $125 for the amp. UPS is expensive now. That was expensive! I hope he plays them.
Shad, WooHoo to you! I am really looking forward to playing a Schroeder myself. I just got an offer today on my house and it looks like I will be heading out west soon. So I won't be able to see the Tour Guitar until it goes back. But Jason invited me to to come out and try one of his other guitars. And I am taking him up on that. Hopefully, I can see some of the guitars that he's making for everyone here.
Look forward to your report Shad!
Take care guys!

It sounds to me like UPS is considering this to be a double oversized box. That wouldn't surprise me because of the size of the case. It cost me that much to send a Jackson V once...the case was huge.

Hey Tommy, give me a call on my cell sometime tomorrow...Friday March 10th (717-448-1945), so that I will know what time you will be in my area. FWIW, tomorrow evening I will on the turnpike from 5:30 -6+...depending on construction. I will be available to meet you whenever the speed limit gods allow :D
Friendly note--when you get close to Harrisburg, watch out for speed traps/construction...a ticket would offset the shipping costs...just ask my wife...87 in a 65...ouch ;)

Let me know if the shipping continues to be a problem and we can work something out. That is ridiculous that shipping was that much. I paid that much for priority from CA to NY!!
