Man! Every time I think, "good, it's finally making it's way West a little"....it shoots back to the East coast, hehe! I'm starting to think it will see the UK, before it hits Illinois! I hope there are no plans to send it to Iraq!.....somehow I get the feeling I'm just giving you ideas, hehe!

Tony,
I know the tour was not as well orchestrated as I had hoped. Sorry about that. I plan on sending the guitar to Will in Michigan next then to you in Chicago. Should only be another couple weeks!

Hey Denise!

Basically this mini-tour was intended to show the guitar to the folks who have ordered a guitar so that they can reference neck size, etc. A couple of others have had the chance to check it out because they were close by. If you could meet up with Dave this weekend that would be great. It is scheduled to start heading west on Monday of next week. If you are not available, I am anticipating an extended tour for interested people after all of the guys with orders in get a chance to spend some time with it.

Dave - thanks for showing it off on Saturday! It was good talking to you last night and I really appreciate all of your input on the guitar.

btw, denise, as a fair warning, this is a church style deal and is basically a 3 hour worship "jam"....i go to a non-denominational charismatic church (not pentecostal...VERY big difference) so, there might be some "weird" stuff going on but seriously, good folks....

anyhow, give me a ring if you are/aren't able to come and i'll do my best to at least get ya a glimpse of the sucker... :)

Hi Dave,

We couldn't find the CHurch, it was on North ST not Union street. I my haste I just mapquested 8 Union St and forgot to bring the name of the CHurch and your number with me. We drove around the area for a while looking for it but then both my husband and kids got antsy to go to dinner.

It's too bad because we were on North Street too.

Oh well. Good try though. Hope the jam/worship is going well...weird stuff and all ;)

Hmm... one of my ex-boyfiriends lived in Salem.

Yeah it is a mess up here. A major portion of Interstate 95 was closed since this morning and US RT 1 is closed in various spots.

My husband, Joe, is trying to get home from Boston now.

There's a lull right now but they are forcasting more heavy rain and flooding tonight, and more rain tomorrow.

Luckily we got no water other than a brief chimney leak at the roof flashing. Joe, fixed it in the rain yesterday and there have been no other issues.

At least my guiitars aren't floating. We are very fortunate!
The tour guitar should be okay. I think Dave live more in Central Mass. It was in Salem on Saturday, which wasn't too bad at the time.

Great pics Dave!! It actually makes me miss the guitar!!! Can't wait to see it again. I see you have a roadie!!! Very cute.

It looks like the jack plate has been rotated 180 degrees. No big deal but it will cover the hole if you reverse it. You can see the gap on the left side in Dave's photo and how the right side is a bit fatter:

Here is what it looked like when it left my shop. :)
