Ok, now that things are getting back to normal around here lets get some of these threads going again.
So let me start, what guitars are you playing these days until your JS comes in? Whats so good bout them?
Personally, I've been playing only 3 PRS guitars recently.
My artist III semi-hollow, my custom 22 standard studio, and my CE24.
If I could only play only one of them, then its the artist III. Hands down can almost do anything and the custom 22 standard studio coming in very close. The CE24 is great, but a bit brighter and twang in some pup positions so its not as versatile as the other 2.

Jason, is that a set-neck or bolt?

This guitar preceded the Wolfgang but yes, it is similar! It was inspired by the Music Man EVH and PRS. The red guitar is much flatter like a Fender though (very slight neck angle, flat headstock, etc.) It is the identical outline to my yellow guitar. These were made back to back. My intention was to make a Fender style guitar (red) and a Gibson style guitar (yellow) with the same body dimensions.

Stu - it is a bolt on neck. Unlike the EVH models, it has a recessed neck plate on the back

I've been playing mostly my MIJ Rosewood Tele, which I've put a GFS in the bridge & have another for the neck, but haven't made the time to install & a Cort Pagelli that I've recently installed Motherbuckers in & am surprisingly very happy with. The Pagelli might become the drop tuning guitar I think.
I'm trying to rotate the guitars more, both to give them the deserved attention & to weed out any that I just won't really use or don't have any attachment to. I might end up parting with one of my quirkier pieces....probably to be replaced by an even quirkier one, hehe!
I do have a question for Doc though: How is it you find a guitar with more treble less versatile? I realise that it's personal taste, but for me...you can always roll off some treble to make it darker, but can't put treble where it isn't. All this keeping in mind that I do prefer a brighter guitar, probably due to a case of rock n' roll ears(ie treble loss).
Sweet guitars guys!
Tony
PS - I think the Gibson V2's are next in rotation....

Thanks,
She is # 349 and is a real nice guitar.
(I love the neck profile on this one. It feels different from any other PRS I have played)
Hey, where I come from, if you're not given a hard time, they don't
like you :)

Will worked his pickup re-winding magic into the Chopper and it has been my "go to" lately. Love this guitar and I love it through this amp.

Lately it`s been all about the super Strats. My Gutierrez Juggernaut custom and my ESP M-1. The Juggernaut was made in `05/`06 and is a mahogany body with wenge neck-through, cocobola fretboard and stainless frets. The M-1 is off the rack stock.
