I was bored today and did this track cause it would be fun I guess haha...
No overdubs or editing done but yes that IS a drum machine and I tried to rip off most of the drum fills haha
thanks for Doc for finding the site

Sweet jam. Hey I have a JSX amp and sound nothing like Satch. LOL! I love his amp! It's the most articulate tones I have heard from anything I've played. Can't hide from bad playin with it.
That sounded pretty good Tommy!

Sounds great Tommy! Do you mind my asking how you learn? Is it all from ear or tablature or watching videos? Combination? I particularly like lick you are playing at 1:27. Very cool. Really nice vibrato work too.
Satch is coming up quite a bit lately. Will and I went and checked out my lead singer's other band on Saturday night and a guest guitarist went up and played some Satriani. Then I start playing "Always with me, Always with you" on Sunday, then Will brings over his JSX amp Sunday night (can't wait to actually play through it!!). Now Tommy is busting out some sweet Satch licks. Crazy.

thanks for checking it out guys...glad you enjoyed it...I'm actually going to edit it and clean it up and throw it up on my website sometime when I get around to it
Jason...I read notation, tab and play by ear...utilizing all three of those, or even just two, I can learn/memorize many songs a day...i'm sooooooo glad I had that shit force fed to me when I was growing up...the lick you heard at 1:27 is just a standard lick on the b and e string at the 14th and 11th fret (pent pattern 4 in the key of Eb)
