I hope you are lurking and checking this out. Here is your neck (center) with flamed maple bound ebony fingerboard on Brazilian RW neck. I think it looks really slick. Good choice!!

The neck looks great. The binding adds a nice touch. Too bad it can't go around the headstock too. Hint, Hint!

Started the carve... Still have to do the cutawau carves and a lot of refining but it is starting to look like a guitar!

I also love the maple binding, but I`ve always wanted to know how durable wood binding is. Do you do a finish on the maple to keep it from discoloring with use?
