Got wood!!!

Jason was kind enough to send me some pictures of some quilt maple he had so I picked out a top for my singlecut guitar. The guitar will actually have a quilt maple top and back. If possibly we are going to try to get both the top and bottom out of this board. If not Jason will find something similar. Here are the two pictures he sent me of the board.

Probabaly a long way off from getting started actually working the wood but it is nice to have the project started.

Maybe Jason has a pic of my wood before it was cut so we can compare the two? That one is sweeeeet.

Stu's top, Tony's former top (now Paul's) and this order of Paul's appear to be from the same tree. They all have this silvery shimmer in the white. Very beautiful stuff!

If both my Schroeder's top wood do indeed come from the same tree it will be a first for me. Kinda cool.
