Schroeder

As many of you know, Bryan Gunsher, owner of the original Schroeder sold to the public (see below), is making pickups now. Bryan was nice enough to send me a set of his BG Buckers and we finally installed them in the Tour Guitar today in preparation for the European Tour. HOLY CRAP!!!!!!! The overwhelming thought in m head was that the Tour Guitar became more "MUSICAL" with Bryan's pickups. The pickups were balanced and clear with a tight bass response. I am used to slightly hotter pickups but these pickups broke up beautifully with a touch of overdrive. They were creamy when pushed hard and have a nice and open sound. I am so confident in moving forward with future projects with Bryan. In fact, I will be installing BGs in several upcoming guitars, including Shad's 7 string, at least two of the Choppers and the Tour Guitar. Thanks Bryan for the chance to try these out!!
Niall and others in the UK, please be patient in receiving the Tour Guitar. My band Turning Point is playing the after party for the upcoming Vince Neil (of Motley Crue fame) show this weekend and i am going to hold on to the Tour Guitar so I can play it live. I hope you don't mind waiting couple more days!
If you guys missed it, Bryan had a feature on Harmony Central recently. Check it out...
